About
My name is Mary Kennon. This is a travelogue of my journey to South America with the Peace Corps. I can’t promise to update on any kind of schedule because I have to take Internet access where I can find it, but I will be in touch as often as I can. Some of you who know me from other venues and under certain pseudonyms might wonder what became of the weekly trivia item. Given current constraints on my research and connectivity, I’ll be doing an erratic Guaraní to English dictionary instead.
So that’s me out of the way; please feel free to tell me more about yourself. If you want to comment on this blog, please be advised that you’ll need to leave an e-mail address. The first time you post under any given e-mail account, I’ll have to vouch for you before your comments are made publicly available. But once that hurdle is cleared, words go straight from your keyboard to the public’s eyes. Please be discreet; I don’t want to censor anyone but I do have to look out for my good name and yours.
If this is too much pressure, I’ll happily listen to invective, gossip, lies, and instances of “oversharing” via e-mail. I get those messages @gmail.com under the name marykennon.
